But it doesn’t have to be that way, you can forget the hustle and bustle of shopping by hiding in the cinema.

And wouldn’t it be relaxing to sort your Christmas shopping before the titles roll?A little chill is what the world needs at the end of the year, so we created 3 spots that would help you relax and added a gentle giftcard reminder at the end.
We didn’t need Hollywood-sized budgets to remind cinema-lovers how the big screen can help you escape for an hour or two. But we did borrow one of their stars to VO our campaign.

Three, 30s spots showed there is another, more chilled way to do your shopping. They each featured hypnotic visuals with a glowing Cineworld star accompanied by the rhythmic, warm tones of Malcom McDowell’s voiceover.
And if 30 seconds didn’t get you all warm and chrismassy, we created a 90-minute feature full of  Christmas stream-of-consciousness and umpteen Easter eggs referencing Christmas movies, for those in the silver screen know. And then cut that down to create quick spots for paid social.
